Who is eligible to use Overwize?
Eligible users of Overwize include construction, transportation and/or service based companies that are currently using such things as pilot cars, carriers and recognize the advantages that Overwize can bring to their businesses and processes.
Which platforms does Overwize work on?
Overwize is a web-based application that will work on any PC or Mac. It is also mobile friendly.
What’s in it for me? How can Overwize save me money?
Overwize gives you the ability to streamline your business operations for optimum efficiency, while providing you with exposure in your chosen market. For example, if a pilot car is looking for a back haul to get back to base, Overwize provides that opportunity.
What are the costs?
Overwize has no monthly fees or hidden costs.
- Transportation carriers will be charged 8.9% of total revenue for any jobs posted.
- Pilot cars will be charged an 8.9% deduction on total revenue for any jobs completed.
- There is an industry standard of 2% per month, or a 24% per annum charge, to hold a credit account with Overwize Inc.
How do I sign up?
Overwize is designed to be straightforward, simple and user-friendly. Simply click on the ‘Sign Up’ prompt and follow the easy steps. No credit card or sensitive information is required.
How do I book a pilot car?
Booking a pilot car is as easy as posting your job. Our geographical coverage allows you to find a match with pilot cars that have also posted their availability. From there, you will receive a text, email or both with additional details.
How do I request a permit?
Sign on and become an Overwize member. You will then have access to our free permit app that will collect all the required data to send to your dispatch or permit service provider. The app will track your revisions and stay in your account for future reference and usage.
Fill out the fields and routing, in addition to any required notes. Once complete, the system will send you a clear PDF email with a diagram of your configuration. This will also include a ‘last modified’ time stamp, should revisions be required prior to the dispatch of your order.
How do I get paid?
The payment process can be outlined in three simple steps:
- At the completion of a job, the driver or carrier representative will end the job in the system, agreeing to the total charges.
- The ‘Pay Now’ button will be selected and you will enter your credit card info directly to Stripe, our payment server. Your data is never held after the transaction is completed.
- Overwize processors send both, a paid invoice to the service creator, and a paid receipt to the provider via their chosen method and copies are placed in your account, giving you the ability to track and run reports.
What area does Overwize cover?
Overwize has the ability to both make or receive payments across Canada and the United States.
How do I contact Overwize if I have an issue?

What if I cancel my membership?
If you request a membership cancellation, Overwize will not hold your information, and the account will be completely closed. If there are any outstanding funds to be paid, these will have to be settled first.
